Reston Community Center is excited to announce the appointment of Brianne Baglini, CPRP, as its new Deputy Director, effective February 22, 2025. She succeeds BeBe Nguyen, who became RCC's Executive Director in September 2024.

Ms. Baglini most recently served as the Operations Branch Manager in Park Services with the Fairfax County Park Authority. Prior to her role at Fairfax County, she worked for the City of Fairfax, where she successfully led the organization through its inaugural accreditation by the Commission for Accreditation of Park and Recreation Agencies (CAPRA) and achieved re-accreditation in 2022. She continues to serve as a CAPRA accreditation visitor for various agencies across the nation.

“RCC is excited to welcome Brianne,” stated RCC Board Chair Bev Cosham. “Her extensive knowledge of recreation management and the CAPRA accreditation process comes at a crucial time as we prepare for our reaccreditation in 2025. The Board is confident that she will effectively support the advancement of our strategic plan goals alongside BeBe Nguyen.”

“I am honored to take on this new role,” Ms. Baglini remarked. “Through my work in various environments, including community centers, recreation facilities, rental venues and historic sites, I have developed a customer-focused approach. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve the Reston community.”

RCC Executive Director Nguyen noted, “Ms. Baglini's expertise in CAPRA accreditation, capital project management, community engagement and program development will greatly benefit our team. I look forward to working together to advance RCC’s mission of enriching lives and building community."

Ms. Baglini is a Certified Park and Recreation Professional (CPRP). She actively seeks learning opportunities through the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) and the Virginia Recreation and Parks Society (VRPS), including Directors School and Revenue Development, and earned the Certified Public Manager (CPM) designation through George Mason University. The RCC Board and staff look forward to collaborating with Ms. Baglini to offer meaningful leisure and cultural experiences that enhance the quality of life for the entire Reston community.
