If you’re anything like this writer, when it comes to your furry best friend, only the absolute best will do. Whether it’s farm-to-table, chef-prepared dog food, designer leashes, or organic, fair-trade dog shampoo—if it exists, it’s available for purchase. And when it’s time to head to work or take that much-needed vacation, you want to be sure you're leaving your good boy or girl with someone who cares about their well-being as much as you do.
Fortunately, Restonians need look no further than Molly’s, the newest doggy daycare in town, conveniently located in RTC West on Inspiration Street. Molly’s offers everything a devoted pet parent could want: flexible daycare plans, comfortable boarding suites, and full-service grooming. Each dog receives a free social evaluation to better understand their temperament, comfort level with staff and other dogs, and any special quirks, ensuring they get the personalized care they deserve.
Where Molly’s really shines, though, is in its enrichment programming. While some daycares may stick to basic fetch, Molly’s goes the extra mile with tunnel time, frozen treats, scent games, dog yoga, and a particular favorite among regulars: the bubble machine. You can rest easy knowing your pup is getting both the physical activity and mental stimulation they need to stay sharp, healthy, and (ideally) nice and sleepy by bedtime.
Of course, as fun as it all sounds, safety is always the top priority. Quinton, a caretaker at the Reston location, says his favorite part about working at Molly’s is the structure and safety protocols in place. Dogs of all sizes and temperaments have the space they need to be themselves. If a pup is feeling a little overwhelmed, there’s a separate area where they can relax and settle down comfortably and securely.
