Local Realtor Micki Moravitz invites the community to join her for a special event to support Cornerstones, a trusted local nonprofit that serves people in need. Held on Saturday, July 26, 10 a.m. to noon, on Charterhouse Circle in the Deepwood community (between Duke of Bedford and Dunlop courts), the goal is to collect 125 new backpacks to help local students start the school year with confidence and the supplies they need to succeed.
Now in its fifth year, Micki's annual backpack drive has become a meaningful and fun tradition. In appreciation for the community's generosity, Moravitz is once again offering complimentary on-site shredding services to help neighbors clear out their clutter securely. Additionally, a locally owned food truck will be serving freshly made mini doughnuts and ice-cold, freshly squeezed lemonade—a sweet way to express her gratitude for neighbors stopping by on a hot summer morning.
"I'm incredibly grateful for the continued support from this community," Moravitz said. "Cornerstones makes such a meaningful impact, and it's an honor to partner with them again. I hope we can hit our goal and make this the biggest year yet."
Whether you're donating a backpack or just coming by for a doughnut and some shredding, everyone is welcome. Come out, give back, and enjoy a great morning with your neighbors—all for a good cause.
