Summer family-friendly adventure full of art, selfies, and awesome prizes!

Public Art Reston is thrilled to announce the launch of its 2025 Public Art Scavenger Hunt, an exciting, free, and family-friendly summer adventure that turns exploring Reston into a creative quest for everyone. Participants of all ages are invited to discover Reston’s vibrant public art while competing for a chance to win amazing prizes. Every participant will receive a small prize, and five lucky winners will each get a $500 gift card!
Here’s How It Works:
Joining the hunt is easy! Participants can pick up a Scavenger Hunt card at several locations around Reston or download one from the Public Art Reston website at publicartreston.org. Each card includes QR codes that reveal the locations of beautiful public artworks throughout the community. Just scan the codes, find the artworks, snap a selfie with them, and post it to Instagram or Facebook using the hashtag #PublicArtReston. Full instructions to win prizes are included on the Scavenger Hunt cards and online.
Pick up your Scavenger Hunt card at: Reston Community Centers at Hunter’s Woods and Lake Anne Plaza, Reston Museum, Reston Art Gallery, and Reston Regional Library (Children’s books section).
Important Dates to remember:
· Final day to submit entries: August 17, 2025
· Winners Announced: August 20, 2025
Whether you're a long-time Reston resident or a first-time visitor, the 2025 Public Art Scavenger Hunt offers a unique and fun way to connect with the local art scene.
