Public Art Reston has launched its 2026 Public Art Scavenger Hunt, a free community activity that encourages participants to explore public art installations throughout Reston.
Participants of all ages can pick up a scavenger hunt card at Reston Community Center locations at Hunters Woods and Lake Anne Plaza, the Reston Museum and the Reston Art Gallery, or download one from Public Art Reston's website. The cards include QR codes that provide locations of public artworks across the community.
To participate, individuals must take selfies with the artworks and post them on social media using the hashtag #PublicArtReston. Entry instructions and prize details are available on the scavenger hunt cards and online.
All participants will receive a small prize, and five winners will be selected to receive $500 gift cards.
The deadline to submit entries is Aug. 23. Winners will be announced Aug. 31.
